put your permaculture skills into practice and help us to provide high quality food to our community

Granja Tz’ikin is named after the Mayan nawal symbol for abundance which is represented by imagery of the bird. Our farm serves as a regenerative farming and homesteading demonstration site where we have hundreds of varieties of native and edible plants. Goats and chickens are the keys to our composting and soil fertility systems and we are constantly experimenting with perennial guild systems, compost teas and microbial inoculants, natural waste treatment methods, ecological buildings, and much much more. Come and learn with us in the gardens. Help out with the animals and soil fertility system. Lend a hand in natural construction. There are endless possibilities here in the beautiful valley of Tzununa!
